Christian McCaffrey is the final quandary of fantasy football strategy for 2022 on Draft Day. When you’re healthy, there’s no doubt that the runners-up Panthers should be among the top picks for fantasy football for 2022. For those who think he could come close to repeating his 2019 numbers of over 2,500 scrimmage yards and 19 total touchdowns, the McCaffrey is the boot at the top of the fantasy football rankings for 2022. But as the 2022 Fantasy football ADP team suggests, he’s not restricted to being among the top three players in the 2022 Fantasy football QB, RB, and WR tournaments, even in the PPR tournaments. If you are looking for 2022 fantasy football advice, Make sure to check out our 2022 fantasy football cheat sheets from the installed PC form at SportsLine.
Last year, the model accurately predicted this ponies Taylor’s decline was undervalued. Taylor has been recruited behind their backs like Aaron Jones, Ezequiel Elliott and Eckler, but the SportsLine projection model predicted he would outshine all these linebackers and be a fixture in your fantasy football squads. The result: Taylor led the NFL with 1,811 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns to finish as an RB1 overall in 2021, and that’s just one example of the league-winning pick that SportsLine’s model has been up to.
He’s been high on fantasy football sleepers like AJ Brown in 2020, Henry in 2019, McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anyone who counts on players like these is likely to be He managed to win the league title.
The model is run by the same people who created forecasts for all three major Fantasy locations, and it beat out the human experts last season when there was a huge difference in rankings. The projections are updated multiple times daily, so you always get the best fantasy football tips and the latest fantasy football categories.
Now, SportsLine has simulated the entire NFL season 10,000 times and released the latest 2022 fantasy football cheat sheets and draft advice, along with our top picks for Fantasy QB, WR and RB. Head over to SportsLine now to see them.
Highest rankings for 2022 QB fantasy football
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three fantasy football picks for 2022:
1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: The Bills’ quarterback has clearly been the best Fantasy Football QB in the last two seasons, throwing for over 4,400 yards each season, collecting 73 touchdown passes and dashing for 14 more. He’s the 2022 Pre-Season Prediction Makers’ Choice Player of the Year in the NFL for good reason. It’s not out of the question that Allen will be able to skip points and rush for a combined 50 points this season.
2. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: Although he only played four full seasons as a rookie, if Mahomes retired today, he would be a solid bet for the professional football hall of fame. That’s how impressive his performance has been since 2018. The Chiefs have played at least an AFC Championship match in all four seasons that Mahomes has played as a starter, although in the strong AFC he looks to be a longer stint in 2022. A weapon, Tyreek Hill, is now in Miami, the Chiefs’ QB may suffer a drop in pass-through landing from his average of 37.5 over the past two seasons. Either way, the 4,500-yard, 30+ touchdown season is a virtual lock-up for one of the game’s greats.
3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Fantasy managers look at Jackson’s 2019 MVP season featuring 36 touchdown passes, 1,206 yard dash and seven rushing scores and hope for a repeat as the Ravens quarterback seeks a giant long-term contract extension. Although the future Baltimore Corps is skinny outside the tight confines of Mark Andrews, Jackson’s predictions for 2022 fantasy football are bolstered by his hasty stats. Last year in just 12 games, Jackson rushed nearly 800 yards. If he’s healthy, another 1,000-yard season on the ground feels like a virtual certainty, making him among the elite quarterbacks in the Fantasy drafts this season. See more of the best QBs here.
Highest Fantasy Football Rankings for 2022 RB
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three fantasy football picks for 2022:
1. Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts: The Colts pressed the reset button this holiday season, ending Carson Wentz’s era by bringing in veteran Matt Ryan in the middle. Taylor will remain the primary focus, though, as he led the NFL in fast yards and touchdowns last season. His 2,171 total yards have been the fourth most run over the past decade.
2. Austin Eckeler, Los Angeles Chargers: Eckler has been a standout player this past year, hitting career highs in aircraft carriers, fast rushing yards and fast descents. He’s also linked his career to receiving touchdowns, collecting 70 passes for 647 yards. Ekeler should be on the field for most of the team’s offensive shots and plays behind a strong offensive line.
3 – Derek Henry, Tennessee Titans: Far from having a foot injury, Henry was a fantasy machine last year. He scored at least 17 PPR points in six of his first seven games prior to the foot problem. The 28-year-old will be the focal point of attack in 2022 and had only 257 touches last year, so he should be prepared to be a factor in the action again this season. Highest Fantasy Football Rankings for 2022 WR
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three fantasy football picks for 2022:
1 – cooper cup, Los Angeles rams: The reigning Super Bowl MVP was an unstoppable force for the Rams in 2021. With Matthew Stafford as the quarterback, Cobb scored the second-highest single season total in NFL history at 1947 yards in an astonishing 145 catches. While it’s incredibly hard to replicate the receptions, arenas, and 16 touchdowns from last season, it’s still a top pick for Fantasy directors, especially in the PPR formats. Kupp should easily be off the board in the first eight picks from all of the 2022 fantasy football drafts.
2. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota VikingsIn both NFL seasons, Jefferson became one of the league’s elite players in his position. That 1,600 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2021 looks like a ground for the huge potential this season could offer. A season with 1,800 yards and 12 touchdowns doesn’t sound like that far off. Jefferson is another solid top half option in the first round in all tournaments.
3 – Jammer Chase, Cincinnati Bengals: Despite coming off his final collegiate season in 2020, Chase broke into the scene with old LSU teammate Joe Burrow and helped lead Cincinnati to its first Super Bowl in more than three decades. He broke the 200-yard receiving barrier twice last season, including a season best performance, an 11-catch performance, 266 yards, and three touchdowns in a win over Kansas City in Week 17. With the Bengals attacking strong again, it’s a solid gamble that can Chase would improve it with his 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns from 2021. See more of the best WRs here.
